GTX 1660 Ti ONLY 19% Faster than GTX 1060?

I'm not quite sure how to feel about this one, but leaks for the GTX 1660 Ti which is set to be a Turing based GPU without the RTX capabilities keep rolling in and this time they have been spotted in Ashes of the Singularity. This leak comes to us from TUM_APISAK, who is typically a trustworthy leaker.

The leaker notes that this is a leak from a laptop, which indicates the GPU might be power-limited/thermal-limited. They also make it clear that this is on a Coffee Lake H 8 core processor.

The GTX 1660 Ti is set to be the first Turing based GPU without the RTX malarchy, which will help to reduce costs. However, with its 1,536 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit memory bus, the card only gets a 19% performance uplift against the current GTX 1060.

To say we don't have high hopes for this card is to be kind, but perhaps this might be the card to fill the XX50/Ti void that is left in the wake of the 20 series?
